GoSafe with ESI has been awarded by GENERA2020 in Spain as one of the best innovation and technology research projects related to renewable energy, energy efficiency and environmental protection.
With the slogan “Integrating Energies For A Sustainable Future”, Genera2020 proposes three fundamental strategic themes for the 2020 edition: Sustainability, Innovation and Business. The Genera Fair has also promoted the Innovation Gallery to demonstrate some of the current most relevant research on renewable energy and efficient energy, awarding the best research and development projects under these topics. The Innovation Gallery brought together a selection of projects with clear technologically innovative components, developed by companies and public or private organisations and it included GoSafe with ESI.
The panel of experts has selected the H2020 project Energy Savings Insurance (ESI) Europe to the Innovation Gallery. The consortium of ESI Europe project is implementing the ESI model in Italy, Portugal and Spain; and is developing tools that allow the wider adoption of the model in other European countries. An outcome of the project is the creation of GoSafe with ESI, an integral solution with guaranteed energy savings covered by insurance, that minimises the risks of investments in energy efficiency and provides assurance, trust and credibility to companies.
GoSafe with ESI allows the reduction of energy consumption, while improving performance and increasing the environmental sustainability of operations. By using the elements of the ESI model, the investment in new energy efficient equipment results in savings, which are guaranteed and insured.
