BASE is going to the COP25 in Madrid

Our delegates will attend the conference and speak at various official side events at the UNFCCC climate talks.

The 2019 United Nations Climate Change Conference, also known as COP25, is the 25th United Nations Climate Change conference, will be held in Madrid, Spain, from 2 to 13 December 2019 under the presidency of the Chilean government. Governments will gather to respond to the growing urgency of the climate crisis and agree on concrete plans to strengthen the implementation of the Paris Agreement.

BASE’s team will attend the conference and speak at various official side events at the UNFCCC climate talks. Get in touch if would like to discuss how innovative financial mechanisms and business models can drive investment towards sustainable energy and help tackle climate change.

Jasmine Neve, Thomas Motmans and Dimitris Karamitsos will be there during week 1. Daniel Magallon, Pablo Osés Bermejo, Aurélien Pillet and Veronica Corno will be there during week 2.

Do not miss BASE speaking at the following events:

  • Monday 2 December from 16:45 to 18:15: Thomas Motmans will present on our award winning Cooling as a Service (CaaS) initiative at the official side event Green Cooling: progress and potential.
  • Friday 6 December from 11:30 to 13:00: BASE will participate at the workshop on climate finance mwp-contenting and planning: challenges and opportunities organised by the Climate Policy Initiative
  • Monday 9 December from 14:30 to 16:00: Daniel Magallon will present at the side event at the EU Pavilion on innovative climate financing instruments that are supporting the low carbon transition in cities organised by CPI.
