The virtual event will take place 1 December from 8.30 to 19.00 CET and all interested parties are invited to register to attend free-of-charge. 

Hosted by the Basel Agency for Sustainable Energy (BASE), the Cooling as a Service (CaaS) E-Summit will highlight how this cooling servitisation business model works. The E-Summit will bring together business and building managers, financial institutions and investment funds, cooling equipment manufactures and contractors, energy service companies, and experts from various disciplines interested in the mechanics of the model.

A provisional agenda for the E-Summit has been announced, featuring parallel sessions,  panel discussions, and various interactive features to engage audiences from around the world. The program is split into two to cover the Africa and ASEAN regions in the morning, and the LATAM region in the afternoon – accommodating the various time zones of these regions.

The morning session will start at 08:30 CET and the afternoon session will kick off with a welcoming ceremony for LATAM around 3pm CET. After an introduction by the CaaS team from BASE and keynote speakers, the program will commence with a case study panel from the regions. Progress on various CaaS projects in this region will be shared, including updates on the selected incubator projects. 

The program also includes a choice of three parallel sessions: insights in the CaaS toolkit with an analysis of the CaaS contract, pricing tool, and model mechanics; investor’s perspectives: CaaS as an wp-contentealing investment vehicle; and one on end-user perspectives. A session on complementary models in the clean cooling sector will also be presented, as well as a broader look into servitisation as a whole. This promises to be an inspiring session, positioning servitisation as a key solution for a more sustainable, post-COVID-19 world focused on circular economy and digitalisation.

The E-Summit will include case study project video screenings, workshop exercises with the audience and a live FAQ session.
